Michael Regan joined the GP Sports Management team in October 2012 to lead and develop a youth division within GP Sports Management. As part of this division, his focus will be the day-to-day management of Sean Malto, Curren Caples, Filipe Toledo, Alessa Quizon, Wacson Mass & Tyshawn Jones. In addition, he will focus on the development of youth oriented projects throughout the world of motorsport and action sports.
With a background in the Action Sports industry, his experience will be put to use building the profiles of our athletes, on projects with our partners and in developing youth targeted marketing programs, social networking strategies and sponsorship acquisition.
Prior to GP Sports Management, Michael spent over 15 years in the Action Sports industry. During his career in Action Sports, he was the International Sales Director for DC Shoe Co, Sole Technology, Inc. and the Global Brand Director for the Etnies footwear brand. Core competencies developed over this period include sales leadership, targeted marketing strategies, licensee management, negotiating contracts, developing sponsor agreements, managing athletes and overseeing the strategic brand planning processes.
Michael lives in Costa Mesa, California and is married with two children. He is an avid motorsport enthusiast and enjoys track days, motorsports culture, ice hockey, surfing and traveling.
