Jean-Éric Vergne is a French racing driver, who currently drives for DS Penske in Formula E and Peugeot in the World Endurance Championship.

Jean-Eric Vergne “JEV” has always steered his career in the fast lane; achieving an impressive track record of successes to date, having been Champion or Vice-Champion in every category in which he competed before entering Formula 1.

JEV is the first FIA Formula E Double World Champion having won the Season 4 (2017/18) and Season 5 (2018/19) FIA Formula E World Championship back to back. He was also instrumental in steering his team, DS Techeetah, to winning the FIA Formula E Team Championship for their first time in Season 5 and then again in Season 6.

Prior to JEV’s career in Formula E, he spent three years as an Official Driver for the Toro Rosso Formula 1 Team, where he left with more points than any other Toro Rosso driver at the time.

JEV is currently sponsored by DS Automobiles, Loro Piana and VEXT and has previously been a Global Ambassador for Hugo Boss, Tag Heuer, and Michelin. 

JEV has a number of commercial interests, which include being an investor in various businesses.
