Catie Munnings
Catie Munnings is a British racing driver, who currently drives in Extreme H and is a pilot for Team AlUla championed by LeBron James in the E1 Series.
26-year-old British rally driver, Catie Munnings, began her career in the European Rally Championship where she won the 2016 Ladies Championship at just 18 years old, making her the first Brit to win a European Rally title in 49 years. Graduating into the Peugeot Rally Academy for 2018, Catie placed fourth overall in the European Rally Championship two-wheel drive category.
Her continued success led to her becoming a Peugeot Brand Ambassador and the UK’s first ever female motorsports athlete to sign a sponsorship deal with Red Bull.
Continuing to compete in the European Championship until she moved into the Junior World Rally Championship in 2020, Catie also raced for Bentley in the Austrian GP Ice race, and more recently alongside Timmy Hansen.
In 2022, Catie signed to drive for the iconic American racing team, Andretti United Extreme E team, in the first season of the Extreme E Championship and won the first ever Arctic Xprix in Greenland.
Catie continued with Andretti in Extreme E in 2023, alongside a new programme with Team Hansen in RX2e – the FIA sanctioned electric Rallycross championship. Munnings continued with both programmes in 2024, along with being the pilot for E1 Team Brazil in the new electric boat championship – the E1 Series. Catie finished the season with three podium places.
Catie has been an Ambassador for brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, Polaris, GoPro, and eBay. Catie is also a Global Ambassador for Red Bull and Zenith watches, and has previously worked alongside PIF to promote the Electric 360 programme.
Off track, she acts as a presenter for the FIA Formula E Championship and was also the star of BBC’s ‘Catie’s Amazing Machines’ - the CBeebies version of Top Gear. Catie is also a motivational speaker for brands such as Vitality Health Insurance.
