ANDRÉ LOTTERER
André Lotterer is a German racing driver. He is a commentator and analyst for Formula E and in 2026 will be driving for Genesis Magma Racing in the World Endurance Championship.
Making a name for himself at a young age through success in both German and British Formula 3 Championships, André took on the role of a test driver for the Jaguar Formula 1 team in 2002 and eventually raced in Formula 1 for Caterham in 2014 where he replaced Kamui Kobayashi at the Belgian Grand Prix.
Lotterer also competed in the Super GT Championship and the Japanese Super Formula series (formerly Formula Nippon) for over a decade, winning the Super GT title in both 2006 and 2009, and the Super Formula title in 2011.
Best known for his success in endurance racing with the Audi Sport FIA World Endurance Championship Team, André Lotterer achieved three victories in Le Mans 24 Hours (2011/2012/2014) and won the Drivers’ Title of the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2012.
Following six seasons in the FIA Formula E Championship (2017-2023) where he achieved eight podium positions whilst racing with DS Techeetah and Porsche, the German driver decided to focus on the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship with Porsche. He went on to win the Drivers' Championship and finished second in the Team Championship.
André is also a commentator and expert analyst for the Formula E global broadcast at a number of races.
